Fit JRNL Privacy Policy

1. Overview & Information We Do Not Collect

Fit JRNL ("the App") is developed and published by Canon Evnt ("we", "us", or "our"). We believe your fitness journal is private personal property. Unlike conventional fitness applications that require accounts, cloud logins, and collect telemetry for ad networks:

• No User Accounts: You are never required to create an account, provide an email address, phone number, or password to use Fit JRNL.
• No Advertising SDKs: We do not integrate third-party ad networks (e.g., Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads).
• No Third-Party Analytics Trackers: We do not embed user-profiling analytics SDKs (e.g., Firebase Analytics, AppsFlyer, Mixpanel).
• No Location Tracking: Fit JRNL does not request GPS, background location, or cellular tower tracking permissions.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

When you use Fit JRNL, all operational data is written directly to your device's sandboxed local storage using Apple's native SwiftData framework and encrypted SQLite databases:

• Workout & Routine Logs: Workout templates, exercise names, sets, reps, weight loads, rest durations, and completion timestamps.
• Nutrition & Macro Logs: Itemized daily meals, calorie counts, protein/carb/fat targets, and custom food entries.
• Bodyweight & Metric Progress: Bodyweight measurements, 1-rep maximum (1RM) calculations, consistency streaks, and milestone achievements.
• App Preferences: Visual theme selection (Cyber Kinetic, Warm Gold, Laser Magenta), units of measurement (lbs / kg), and sound/haptic toggles.

This data never leaves your iPhone or iPad unless you explicitly initiate an on-device JSON backup or export.

3. Apple HealthKit Integration (Opt-In)

Fit JRNL may offer optional integration with Apple HealthKit. If you grant permission:

• The App reads and writes workout sessions and active calories directly to your device's Apple Health database.
• HealthKit data is processed entirely on-device through Apple's secure frameworks.
• In strict compliance with Apple's Developer Guidelines, HealthKit data is never used for marketing, advertising, or transmitted to any external server.

4. In-App Purchases & StoreKit 2

In-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions (such as monthly, quarterly, or annual membership plans) are processed exclusively by Apple Media Services via native StoreKit 2 APIs:

• Your financial details, credit card numbers, and billing addresses are handled exclusively by Apple and are never accessible to Canon Evnt.
• Purchase verification is validated cryptographically on-device using Apple signed JWS transaction receipts.

5. Data Backup, Retention & User Control

Because your data is stored locally on your device:

• Data Retention: Your logs remain on your device for as long as the application is installed.
• Data Erasure: Deleting the Fit JRNL application from your iOS device immediately and permanently deletes all local SwiftData databases and workout logs.
• iCloud Device Backups: If you have standard Apple iCloud Device Backup enabled on your iOS device, your sandboxed app data may be included in your private encrypted Apple iCloud backups.

6. Children's Privacy

Fit JRNL does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or applicable age in your jurisdiction). The app is fully functional offline with zero personal data collection across all age groups.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new app features or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be posted to this page with an updated effective date.
